Plain-language summary: We collect what you type into the bench sign-up sheet or the request form so we can read it and match landmen with work when a company asks. We do not sell personal information. This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

2. Information we collect

What you send us

When you submit the bench sign-up sheet or a request for landmen, we collect what you type into it:

• Name, company name, email address and phone number.
• Home base, and the counties or states you have worked in or need work done in.
• For landmen: the work you do, years in land work, any designation you list (recorded as you report it), and your availability.
• For companies: the work, the counties, how many landmen, the start date, whether you allow us to post the job, and any notes you add.

Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs: your IP address, browser, the page requested, the response code and the time. We use them to keep the site running and to guard it against abuse.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics.

3. How we use it

We use what you send to:

• Read your sign-up sheet or request.
• Match landmen with work when a company asks for landmen.
• Keep the site secure and stop spam and abuse.
• Meet legal obligations that apply to us.

A job request is shown on the board only when the sender has checked the box that allows it.

4. We do not sell personal information

We do not sell personal information. We do not rent or trade it to data brokers or ad networks.

5. Who else handles the data

This site runs on Google Cloud and Firebase in the United States, which host the pages and store what you submit.

6. Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you and ask us to correct anything that is wrong. Where the privacy law that applies to us gives you other rights, such as deletion or a copy, you can ask for those the same way.

Email hello@landman.careers with the subject line "Privacy Request". We may need to confirm it is you, and we will answer within the time the law allows.

7. How long we keep it, and security

We keep a sign-up or request as long as we need it for what you sent it for. The site uses HTTPS in transit, and Google encrypts stored data at rest.
